Prof Ir Dr Suzana Yusup, is the Head of the Center for Biofuel and Biochemical Research and is a Professor at Chemical Engineering Department, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. Her research interest is in the area of biomass conversion to fuel and biochemicals, material development and green processes. Professor Ir Dr Suzana Yusup has authored one book, 16 book chapters, more than 350 articles in high impact factor journals and conference papers, 16 patents and 3 granted patents with cumulative citation number of 5327 and h-index of 42 (Source : Scopus). Among her important awards won are Malaysia’s Research Star Award (2017), Malaysia’s Rising Star Award (2016). 2nd prize in the Elsevier Green and Sustainable Chemistry Challenge (2016), Top Research Scientist Malaysia (TRSM) (2016), Asia Research Award (2012) from The Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan (SCEJ), and Creativity Award, Geneva (2011).
